Who can open a trading account?

All trading account holders are required to be 18 years or older.  In addition, clients must have a permanent Australian residential address, email and mobile number sufficient to open a cash management bank account with Macquarie.  Eligible clients are able to open the following account types with Marketech:

1. Individual
   
2. Joint
   
3. Company
   
4. Self Managed Super Funds
   
5. Trusts

Non-Australian residents, from approved jurisdictions, are still able to open a trading account with Marketech.  Currently, residents of New Zealand and Singapore are able to open a trading account, with additional countries to be added soon.  If you reside outside of these jurisdictions, please don't hesitate to contact us, as applications from other other jurisdictions may be possible. The following account types are available to non-residents:

2. Joint

Whether you are a resident, or non-resident, once you are ready to start your application:

Log into your Marketech Focus account;

Click on   ;

Select My accounts;

Click Add Account;

Select Marketech Online;

Click Start Application.
