What do I need to open an account?

Marketech supports the following type of accounts:
  1. Individual
  2. Joint
  3. Company
  4. Self Managed Super Funds (SMSFs)
  5. Trusts
Individual/Joint
To prepare yourself for the online application, please ensure you have the following information ready.
  1. Your personal details and those of anyone else on the account.  All individuals will need to confirm their identity using their current drivers licence through our electronic verification process or provide certified copies of identification.
  2. Tax file number.
  3. If you wish to transfer your HIN or shares from another broker, please have these details ready.
Company
To prepare yourself for the online application, please ensure you have the following information ready.
  1. Australian Company Number (ACN); Australian Business Number (ABN); and Tax File Number.
  2. Date and place of incorporation.
  3. Registered office address and principal place of business address.
  4. Personal details for all Directors/Company Secretaries and Beneficial Owners.  All individuals will need to confirm their identity using their current drivers licence through our electronic verification process or provide certified copies of identification.
  5. If you wish to transfer your HIN or shares from another broker, please have these details ready.
Self Managed Super Funds (SMSFs)
To prepare yourself for the online application, please ensure you have the following information ready.
  1. Your personal details and details of any other individual trustees listed on the trust deed.  All individual trustees will need to confirm their identity using their current drivers licence through our electronic verification process or provide certified copies of identification.
  2. If the trustee is a Company, we will need details of the Company and to electronically verify the identity of all Officeholders (as above).
  3. The TFN and ABN of your Self Managed Super Fund so that we can verify the details through the Australian Taxation Office's Super Fund Lookup web page.
  4. If you wish to transfer your HIN or shares from another broker, please have these details ready.
  5. At the completion of your application, you will be asked to upload certified copies of the following pages from your SMSF Trust Deed - front page, schedule and execution/signing page, which shows the name of the trust, trustees, beneficiaries and settlor.  
Trusts
To prepare yourself for the online application, please ensure you have the following information ready.
  1. Your personal details and Trust details, as well as any other trustees listed on the deed.  All individual trustees will need to confirm their identity using their current drivers licence through our electronic verification process or provide certified copies of identification.
  2. If the Trustee is a Company, we will need details of the Company and to verify the identity of all Directors (as above).
  3. The TFN and ABN of your Trust.
  4. If you wish to transfer your HIN or shares from another broker, please have these details ready.
  5. At the completion of your application, you will be asked to upload certified copies of the following pages from your Trust Deed - front page, schedule and execution/signing page, which shows the name of the trust, trustees, beneficiaries and settlor.
