How is brokerage charged on my order?
Brokerage is charged, by Openmarkets, at the advertised rate at the time the order is transacted. At the time of publication, that rate is $5.00 or 0.02%. For current schedule of fees, including brokerage, please refer to our
Financial Services Guide (FSG).
If an order is partially traded, the minimum brokerage is charged on the volume that is traded, at the end of the day the first tranche of the order that is transacted ie if you place an order to BUY 10,000 shares at $0.39, but only trade 10 shares (ie $3.90) you will be charged $3.90 plus brokerage. However, when the remaining volume on that order is transacted, you will not pay any additional brokerage, unless the value of the order is above $25,000, in which case you will pay the 0.02% charge that is applicable.
If you cancel the order prior to completion, the brokerage already charged remains.
