What is Closing Single Price Auction (CSPA)?

The Closing Single Price Auction is when the Integrated Trading System (ITS) matches off all orders where only overlapping buy and sell orders are executed.

After the market closes at 4pm AEST, it goes into the 'matching phase' before the CSPA occurs at sometime between 4.10pm and 4.12pm AEST. You can still execute orders in the CSPA.
